Yes, I know by experience that this can be a big problem sometimes. The room in my parent's house was so tiny it can only fit a bed and a small dresser. Then when husband and I decided to live together, our first apartment was a studio. Four walls, the kitchen, a round table, and our bedand us. So I totally understand you, it's not easy. That's why I'm going to give you 4 tips that will help your space look bigger, so let's start!

1. Try to keep it neutral

I have to say that I love colors! But if you have a room the size of a box, please try to go neutral. You don't have to go all white! But pick a palette with light shades for your walls, that will add freshness and brightness to your space.

2. Have a mirror

This is a good choice for small spaces. I love to use over sized mirrors, they look amazing and give dimension to the room, mostly if you have natural light. A top-secret tip is to place the mirror where the light is, so the mirror can reflect the light.

I made this mirror selection for you! Take a look!

3. Let the light in!

Natural light is a MUST! Imagine your tiny bedroom in the darkness, it obviously going to look smaller than it is. So, open your windows right now, and you'll see the difference, it will look larger, bright and will make you feel happier and full of energy.

4. Hello minimalism

In order for your room doesn't look like the size of a box, you need to keep your room tidy. So make sure to keep your surfaces clean, and no, I'm not telling you that you have to throw away all your stuff, the secret is to have a place for everything, it will make your life easier.

Those were my tips on how to make your room look bigger and I really hope you enjoy it. Let me know in a comment if you have more tips or if you only want to say hello!

Love, Mariana.
