My 2021 design predictions.

These few last months I've been learning to be mom of two and I have to be honest, it's been a challenge. At the same time, my life fills with joy every day with these two kiddos who drive me crazy. Now that I’m back to work I’ll keep sharing with you meaningful content that helps you in your process of having your dream home. I started to think of the first blog post I would write for you and I know it's March already but I needed to share with you what my predictions were for this year.

ORGANIC SHAPES

We're going to see a lot of organic shapes and curves in the architecture of the spaces and in all the furniture. Organic shapes give us a sensation of safeness and calm, and that’s the exact feeling we want to feel right now. Arch lover, arches are here to stay!

NATURAL MATERIALS

We're becoming more conscious about nature and we begin to incorporate natural materials bringing the outside world inside. Looking a comfy and fresh aesthetic, materials like wood, stones, and concrete are going to be the protagonists of 2021. Sustainability is the key.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACES

It wasn't in our minds that this could be our reality but the pandemic forced us to incorporate a workspace, a study area, and a playground into our homes. We have to make most of the space we have and design it based on what we need.

FLOOR PATTERNS

Floors will be the protagonist of the room. Art deco floor will be at its peak with interesting patterns and mixing material to give a modern look.

TEXTURES AND MORE TEXTURES

This year, comfort will be our no. 1 priority because we want to feel soft things that make us feel good. That's why faux fur will have a big presence on furniture such as sofas, chairs, and decor. We will want to experience different sensations by mixing different textures in the space.

MAKING YOUR HOME A SANCTUARY

We've discovered the importance of taking care of our homes and the huge impact it has on how we feel. We will pay more attention to get the little details that really set the tone and vibe of a room.
